Hello, I’m Colin Harrison

Colin Harrison

I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples who are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational struggles. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and develop practical tools for growth. I approach counseling from a Person-Centered perspective while incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques to meet each client’s unique needs.

My mission is to promote peace and ease as the default way of moving through life with mind, body, and spirit in harmony. I work in a way that makes trauma healing safe and respectful, always allowing clients to lead the pace of their own process. I am committed to trauma-informed care, human rights advocacy, and creating a welcoming space for all identities and backgrounds.

Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a music educator, creating spaces where students could express themselves and develop confidence. That background continues to shape my therapeutic style, bringing creativity, patience, and presence to the counseling room. I am passionate about serving the Savannah community, and I dedicate time to charity work in addition to my clinical practice. Music also remains an important part of my life and influences the way I connect with others. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Georgia Southern University.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LAPC) under supervision at Waters Edge Counseling, working toward licensure (LPC) in the state of Georgia. I look forward to sitting with you and helping you find healing and growth in your life.
