Hello, my name is Arianna Maldonado
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University in Savannah, Georgia, and completed my internship at a residential mental health facility serving youth with complex trauma histories, behavioral concerns, and severe emotional needs. I later transitioned into a full-time therapist role, where I gained extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy; conducting assessments and treatment planning; and using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, and trauma-informed care.
My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and grounded in both clinical excellence and spiritual humility. I draw from strengths-based and person-centered approaches, and I tailor each session to meet clients where they are. Whether I’m helping a teen learn healthy coping skills, supporting a family through conflict, or guiding a young adult through anxiety or depression, my goal is always to foster connection, compassion, and hope. I integrate psychological principles with faith-based insight when appropriate, helping clients explore meaning, identity, resilience, and healing through a holistic lens. I believe that emotional and spiritual health are deeply connected, and that safe, non-judgmental space allows each person to discover the strength God has already placed within them.
My clients often describe me as grounding, gentle, and easy to open up to. I strive to create a space where people feel understood, supported, and empowered—whether faith is a central focus or simply one aspect of their journey.
Outside of work, I value peace, balance, and continued growth—personally, professionally, and spiritually. I consider it a true privilege to walk alongside clients as they heal, grow, and reconnect with a sense of hope and purpose.
