Mariah Reaves

Hello, I’m Mariah Reaves

Camie Goodes
I support adolescents, adults, and couples who are navigating relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, and unresolved childhood trauma. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure of how to move forward in their healing. My approach creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, make sense of your emotions, and develop tools that genuinely strengthen your wellbeing and relationships.

My work often focuses on helping clients break free from past wounds, communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and build a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. I believe healing is possible for everyone, and I’m committed to guiding clients through the process with compassion, clarity, and practical support. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-focused interventions to help individuals manage anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms. For couples, I draw from the Gottman Method to address challenges such as infidelity, PTSD, communication breakdowns, and trauma-related relational patterns. My work is grounded in attachment theory, supporting clients in creating secure, meaningful, and lasting connections.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. As a pre-licensed mental health counselor, I am under clinical supervision at Waters Edge Counseling and working toward licensure (LPC) in the state of Georgia. My role is to walk alongside you with encouragement and honesty. I want to help clients uncover their strengths, rewrite their story, and move toward a more fulfilling and emotionally healthy life.
